2. You can find in-network providers

Making sure all your providers are in network may help you save money.

Once you’re logged into your secure member website, look for links to “Find a doctor” and “Find a dentist.” From here, you can search a current provider’s name to see if they are in network. Or find a new doctor or dentist by entering your ZIP code to search for in-network providers in your area.

You can also search for in-network walk-in clinics, urgent care centers and hospitals near you.

3. You can manage your prescriptions

To find covered prescription drugs, you’ll need to check your formulary. This is the complete list of medications that are covered by your plan. You can see your formulary, or drug list, and download a copy on your secure member website.

Need to find a pharmacy nearby? Select “Find a pharmacy,” under “Helpful resources." Then enter your ZIP code to search for in-network pharmacies.

4. You can find key forms for reimbursement and more

Let’s say you paid out of pocket for a doctor visit that was covered by your plan and need to be reimbursed. Or maybe you want a loved one to have access to your recent test results. You can find forms that can help you get reimbursed and manage your care on your secure member website.

Simply select “Find a form” and then choose from the list. You’ll find forms to:

  • Get paid back for covered prescription medicine

  • Get reimbursed for covered services

  • Release information to a caregiver or another doctor

  • And more

You can choose to download and print a form, fill it out and mail it in. Or for certain reimbursements, choose “Complete online form” to submit a request online.

Question of the month

Q: What if I'd like to change my primary care provider?

It’s important to have a good relationship with your primary care provider (PCP). They get check-ups. Understanding your medical history helps your PCP give you personalized care when you are feeling under the weather. And they can make referrals and work with other providers if you need specific care or tests.

If you don’t have a primary care provider or you want to find a new one, you can update at any time. Just know that not all doctors may be accepting new patients. And it can sometimes take a while to get a new-patient appointment.

Remember you can search for local in-network providers on your secure member website. When you find one you like, call their office to see if they're taking new patients.
