If you haven’t set up your member account, you’re missing out on a key resource for optimizing your Aetna plan benefits. Once you have an account, you can:

  • Manage your benefits. View your plan details, track progress toward your deductible and access your digital ID card or print a copy.

  • Connect with care. Search for a primary care provider, find health care facilities and view provider ratings and reviews.

  • Review your claims. Check your medical Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statement, get cost breakdowns of claims and view digital claims submissions.

Ready to register for your member account? It can be done in four short steps:

  1. Go to AetnaMedicare.com/Login and click on the “Register” button.

  2. Enter your Aetna member ID number — you can find it on your Aetna ID card — and answer a few questions about you.

  3. Create a username and password and store it somewhere safe.

  4. Log in to see your personalized home page.

And did you know that you can also sign into your member account on the Aetna HealthTM smartphone app? It’s free to download from the AppleStore or GooglePlay.

Question of the month: “Can I submit a bill electronically?”

Answer: Yes. You can submit claims online for reimbursement for health services — no paper forms needed. Have your member ID and a clear image of your receipt from your provider handy.

When you’re ready, follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to our form page.

  2. Under the section “Get reimbursed for paying provider bills,” click on the purple “Complete online form” button.

  3. Follow the instructions on how to upload your receipt.

Have questions or prefer a non-digital option? Give us a call at 1-833-570- 6670 (TTY: 711). We’re available 8 AM–8 PM,  seven days a week. And we can provide a paper form if you prefer to submit for reimbursement that way.

While you’re on the form page, you can also download the forms to give permission for your caregiver or loved one to talk to Aetna about your health care. There are also forms to get paid back for prescriptions you purchased or sign up for prescriptions by mail.
