The results of our 2024 Aetna® member newsletter survey are in! You told us which health topics are most important to you, and which Aetna benefits you want to learn more about. Thanks for your feedback. We’ll use it to make your Wellness & You newsletter even better in 2025. Here’s what you told us.

The wellness topics members care about most

  • 37 percent want to learn more about saving money on health care
     
  • 44 percent are interested in Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) information and 63 percent are interested in specific policy updates and changes
     
  • 35 percent want ideas for bettering mental and behavioral health
     
  • 29 percent think information about cognitive (or brain) health is important
     
  • 38 percent want to learn tips about managing a chronic condition like diabetes or heart disease
     
  • 48 percent would like more information on disability services and supports
     
  • 46 percent care about stories about preventive services, like screenings, vaccines and annual checkups
     
  • 63 percent prioritize healthy eating and nutrition
     
  • 49 percent are interested in healthy aging
     
  • 51 percent want ideas for staying fit
     
  • 49 percent care about increasing their energy levels
     
  • 38 percent are interested in medication and prescription drug management
     
  • 40 percent want more tips for pain management

Outsmart flu season

It’s still a good time to get up to date on preventive vaccines, like your annual flu shot, COVID-19 vaccine or booster, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine and shingles vaccination. Vaccines are available through our network pharmacies. Check with your primary care provider on when you should receive a flu shot and other vaccines. Learn more about this covered benefit included with your Aetna plan.

  • 63 percent want more Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) updates
     
  • 86 percent are likely (or very likely) to recommend an Aetna D-SNP to their family or friends
     
  • 81 percent say the newsletter helps them lead a healthy lifestyle
     
  • 86 percent are interested in the newsletter topics
     
  • 73 percent agree (or strongly agree) the newsletters help them better understand their plan benefits and services 
     
  • 79 percent agree (or strongly agree) their opinion about Aetna Medicare has improved because of the monthly newsletter

It’s time to renew your Medicaid!

Remember to renew your Medicaid to keep your benefits. Aetna® Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan, or D-SNP, members must renew their coverage every year to stay enrolled in their health plan.
